This morning the guys left at 10:00 to go fishing. I went for a kayak ride over to Carol Silhan's boat in Prideaux Haven - still working on getting my legs back into shape. It is really a warm one today so wanted to go earlier in the day. Then went again in the afternoon with John. We also launched Rod's kayak in the evening so he'll be ready to roll tomorrow.
The boys got back around 3:00, but no fish! This was unfortunate as salmon steaks were the menu for tonight - how do hamburger & chicken burgers sound as a substitute? Not quite the same but had to do. Accompaniments were 4 bean salad, green salad, sweet potato fries & Harvey's famous shrimp skewers for appetizers - can still remember those from last year! Also as a bonus we had some shrimp first with cocktails as a starter. (All caught by John & Harvey).
