This morning we picked up the prop (with a spare) & went to pay. Our credit card wouldn't work (which had been a problem since we left the US). Rod called again yesterday when it happened for the second time & was told it was fixed. NOT...called again today & found out the card had been "compromised" & was cancelled. Of course, we have many auto deducts for bill paying - what a hassle!!! So many phone calls & emails later we think everything is under control. They can't mail the card to us since we're on the boat so it will be sent to Heather to bring up when she comes in 2 weeks. To think I was once a banker???!!!
It's been another sunny, warm day - in the low 70-mid 70's. Tonight we had cocktails/appetizers on a friend's boat that came in this afternoon with the other couple who is here at SYC outstation (only 3 boats here). Great conversation - many "small world conversations." Both boaters are headed to Desolation & the Broughtons so will probably hook up again.
