It was another beautiful day! After a leisurely morning, we headed in the dinghy to Madeira to provision things that can't go through customs. We stopped at the local IGA & liquor store to stock up on fruits, veggies, a few basics, wine & tequila for margaritas. Canada has great boxed wine & it's much easier to keep on the boat. Particularly when you're trying to supply for almost 2 months & 2 sets of guests.
On the way back, we heard a thunk - unfortunately we hit something that broke the prop. We slowly got back to the boat. Rod started doing research & was able to order a new prop. He thought he was going to have to limp back to the Madeira Marine to pick it up just as the Silhans stopped by so Mike gave Rod a ride. Turned out they had to order the prop so we'll hang out here another day. We'll leave on Thursday, skip a stop at Cortes & go straight to Desolation Sound.
