The weather was great today - up to the mid 70's in the afternoon. More projects for the guys - fix Harv's big screen TV for HD (Rod's job), smoke the salmon caught yesterday, work on Jon's fishing boat.
I started reading Maggie's The Curve of Time which is about a woman & her 5 kids who sailed in the summers all around the area we are in in a 25' boat starting in 1925 - amazing! Maggie also lent me the follow up book by her kids called Following The Curve of Time (written by one of her daughters).
Chardonnay (the cat) is getting smarter about his thyroid pills which he gets twice a day. We hide it in a small ball of food which he gets before the rest of his breakfast & dinner. Now he is eating around it or spitting it out in the bowl or on the floor half the time. At first we weren't catching it but now we're on to him!
Tonight the happy hour started with some of the salmon which Jon is smoking (he got it out early but it was still delicious). Dinner was coho salmon cooked 3 different ways, corn bread & a bean-corn-artichoke casserole. Ice cream (black cherry) to top it off. So glad there is no scale on the boat!!!
