This morning the repair men arrived a little after 8:00 - 2 guys who could do all the heavy lifting to get the old batteries out of the engine room & the new ones in.
I left when they came & went to the Dollar Tree store to find a few things for the girls while they're here - an assortment of stickers (some 3D), coloring books, curly que straws, etc. I also got some little award charts with many cute award stickers to put on them. My plan is to award these to each girl for doing chores or whatever...just have to figure that part out before they arrive on Thursday! Also made 1 last trip to the grocery store to get a couple of brie cheeses. Then remembered that I had no sippy cups for Sienna & Talia (forgot to bring them) so went back to the dollar store to get some...much better to use on the boat & in the dinghy.
We left about 11:00 to head for the SYC outstation on Cortez Island & arrived about 2:00. There were 15 boats when we got here but more than half left after that. Now there are about 7 boats, a couple new ones came in this afternoon..
Did a couple loads of wash today in the laundry room here - sheets & towels are much easier to do in their machines. Will probably do a couple more tomorrow so all of our clothes are washed. It was quite warm today & little breeze - in the mid 80's.
It's on to reorganizing the staterooms tomorrow to make room for Heather, Dylan, Sienna & Talia. We use the beds for extra storage space. The kids' room is where we keep everything for the cat - water, food & cat litter box which will all have to move to our room. Chardonnay already sleeps in our room but usually has his own room as well (:
